RSVP: We're here for you when you need assistance
Pfizer and Wyeth are one company
As you may have heard, Wyeth is a part of Pfizer. Members of the Wyeth Factor Resource Program and Wyeth Factor Resource Insurance-Coverage Program were automatically enrolled in Pfizer's RSVP Program. The RSVP program offers reimbursement support services and can also help qualifying patients get their Pfizer hemophilia and other medicines at no cost. You should be aware of the changes that took place to your patient assistance program to meet your prescription needs. If you were enrolled in the Wyeth Factor Resource Program or Wyeth Factor Resource Insurance-Coverage Program, you shouldn't have experienced any interruption in service during your transition into the RSVP program and will remain in the RSVP program until your enrollment period ends.
What is RSVP?
RSVP (Reimbursement Solutions, Verification, and Payment HELPline) is a reimbursement support services and patient assistance program designed to help you gain access to the Pfizer products you need, including Xyntha® Antihemophilic Factor (Recombinant), Plasma/Albumin-Free and BeneFix® Coagulation Factor IX (Recombinant).
Who does the RSVP program help?
RSVP can help people who are uninsured and people with insurance.
If I have insurance, how can RSVP help me?
If you are insured, RSVP can help you understand your coverage choices and provide reimbursement support services for the Pfizer products available in the program, including XYNTHA and BeneFix.
If a claim is underpaid or denied, an RSVP representative can look into it on your behalf and explain the appeals process to you.
An RSVP representative can refer you to alternate funding services that you may qualify for.
If I don't have insurance, how can RSVP help me?
If you are uninsured, an RSVP representative can find out if you are eligible for free XYNTHA or BeneFix through the Pfizer patient assistance program. Once your eligibility is established, you will receive a free supply of XYNTHA and BeneFix as prescribed by your doctor.
Who is eligible for Pfizer's patient assistance program?
Patients are eligible if they have received a new prescription for XYNTHA or BeneFix. Previous use of XYNTHA or BeneFix is not required to qualify for patient assistance.
In order to be eligible, you must:
- Have no prescription coverage
- Meet specific income guidelines
- Live in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands
- Be receiving treatment from a US-licensed physician*
*For Puerto Rico, patients must be treated by a Puerto Rico-licensed physician.
Does RSVP offer Hardship Assistance to insured patients who are having difficulty affording their medicines?
Patients with prescription coverage who demonstrate significant financial hardship can apply for Hardship Assistance through the RSVP program. If eligible, patients can access XYNTHA or BeneFix for free. An RSVP representative will help determine a patient's eligibility.
How does RSVP work?
Qualifying for free XYNTHA or BeneFix is based on your need and eligibility.
